Mood Bass

File Format:

Mood Bass stores presets as .toml files.

• Factory presets ship with the plugin in the Presets/ folder
• User presets are saved to your system's application data folder:
• Windows: %APPDATA%\username\Mood Bass\Presets

Simply drop toml preset files into this folder and they will appear in the plugin's preset browser. Load and Save buttons in the preset bar let you manage your own library.

How to Use:

1. Insert Mood Bass as a track effect or instrument in your DAW (see compatibility below).
2. Pick a preset using the popup preset list, or use the Prev/Next buttons to cycle through presets.
3. Tweak the controls on the panel to shape your sound:
   • VCO section — mix and tune Oscillator 1 and Oscillator 2, add the sub-oscillator
   • VCF section — adjust the filter cutoff and resonance
   • FILTER ENV section — shape how the filter responds to notes
   • AMP ENV section — shape the volume envelope (attack, decay, sustain, release)
   • EQ / OUT section — fine-tune low and high frequencies, adjust output volume
4. Enable Legato for monophonic smoothness, or adjust Glide for portamento between notes.
5. Save your sound as a new preset whenever you create something you want to keep.

The interface is modeled after classic hardware with a gold frame, dark navy face, glossy black knobs with metallic rims, and an amber LCD display — designed to feel familiar and tactile.
